I don't have a ton to talk about either...

Hey everybody!

Not a lot has happened since talking either. We found a pretty cool family that moved here from Congo, that lived next door to the first Mormon church built in their city, and they said that they'd be down to learn more about the Gospel, but other than that, there's not been really anything new!

We had a pretty good district comp study yesterday about using technology to find people on facebook, and how to start talking about the gospel though it, and we've seen a lot of miracles coming through messaging people.

Since I dont have a ton to talk about, I'll just send a lot of photos!

Robbie didn't sent captions or info about any of the photos, I'm guessing on these captions.
Missionary humor

He showed us this photo while Skyping, it was taken on St. Pierre

Temperatures above freezing must mean short sleeve time, haha...

With the Dyvrande family and Elder Greenburg, I think...

At Alexandre's baptism, I assume...

Got my travel plans!

Bonjour tout le monde!        This has been a crazy week! We've been super busy with lessons, we have had two or three lessons a day, and lots of really good devotionals.  On Sunday , we had Chad Lewis come and talk, and that was really cool. He talked about his mission, his career, his chance to do this hike up Kilimanjaro with a bunch of wounded soldiers from Iraq, kinda all over the place. It was more like a slide show than the kind of devotionals before. It was still good, but I definitely preferred Elder Oaks. We watched A Consecrated Missionary, by Tad Callister, for our film after, it was really good. I really love the  Sunday  films, gunna miss that in the field.         I also finally meet some other people going to Halifax! There are 4 sisters, and one other Elder, I'll be flying out with them on the 26th. I'm pretty sure I get to call you guys before I leave the airport on my flight, but I think they talk about t...

Yes, everyone's been freaking out!

Hey all, This week has probably been the craziest ever. The announcement came as I was down in a lesson in Halifax (long story, I'll get to it later) and so my phone just started vibrating like crazy during the lesson, and I was super confused. I checked it and saw a ton of missed calls, so I thought something bad just happened, and we finished the lesson quickly, and started calling people back. The other Zone Leaders answered and were just like, "Have you guys checked your email?" and we were really confused, but they told us to go check. Then I read the email they sent all of us, and I was just mind-blown. The elder I was with just pulled over, cause we were driving at this point, and we just sat there talking to them. It was crazy.  Anyway, I'll back up because it's been a pretty crazy week. P-day was a huge storm, and we were stuck in the house that night. Elder Willoughby finished packing. We also found out that because of the storm, the normal t...

This week's update

Hey everybody. I guess you didn't understand what I meant by "you have no excuse." There's a lot of times when we email in the morning. My phone doesn't have internet. I only get to see the emails I got from  Monday . IF YOU WRITE  ON TUESDAY , I MIGHT NOT SEE IT! Hopefully I will have time to read emails later. At least I'll have stuff next week. Now that I finished my little rant, this last week's been pretty good. We finished teaching Nik, Rachelle and Tommy all of the principles, and are just setting up their interviews. Tommy still is working on stopping smoking, but he's doing awesome. He came to a game night we set up, and to church this week, and loved both. The hit at the games night was this table hockey game, it's lots of fun! The travelling trainers came for our district meeting this week. Basically it's two missionaries who spend an entire transfer training the mission. It was lots of fun, Elder Ipson and Olmsted are bo...
