The weekly

Hey all,

Yea, you weren't wrong, I was pretty excited to see the news! It's cool to see what the team has become. Wish I could see some of the games! I miss my polo. (His former water polo team beat their rival for the first time ever last weekend.)

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOO! Hope you had a good one. Sounds like you got a pretty good gift!

And Saints! Holy cow, I loved it. It wasn't an early release for missionaries. They would release a chapter a month with the Ensign up until the 7th, and then they released the whole book. And then they still released the whole book a day early on the Gospel Library app, so I gotta keep reading it there. I read the whole thing already, I did it pretty fast. I don't know if I have a favorite part, but I really liked how much of Joseph Smith it shows. It really shows that he was human too, which I think helps me see him more accurately.

The week was a pretty good one. We had district meeting in Presque Ile, which brought back a lot of memories from the start of my mission. I've changed a lot since then, I think it's cool to compare the kind of missionary I was then and now. After District meeting we went to the buffet place, and it was so cheap! I love America!

Then we had exchanges when we got back with Elder Benson and Barkdull. Elder Barkdull looks like Jonas, which was kinda weird. It was a good exchange, I ended up finding all the time with them because everything else fell through.

They got us sick though. Elder Olsen got pretty sick, and I got it from him, so now I'm not feeling good. First time on my mission where I've had a cold, and it sucks.

Saturday was pretty good. We had a really awesome lesson with Brenden. Brenden is really cool, he's just so ready to discuss and learn, and he's super smart. He actually teaches us a lot. So we had a really good lesson on the Sacrament with him, and it was pretty cool.

Sunday was good. One thing I've come to realize much more is my reliance on the Sabbath, especially the Sacrament. A lot of the time, by the end of the week, I feel pretty worn, but the Sacrament helps me be refreshed. That Sunday evening we had dinner with the Pollards, a sick young couple who moved in not too long ago. They got engaged 3 WEEKS after his mission! Pretty insane.

About a package, I would love one. I don't think there's anyone who wouldn't want a package, haha. One thing that would be really nice is if you could send fun things that 2 people can do. Because of the rule changes, we've been pretty bored on our p-days. Maybe some fun card games we could play, idk. Winter is coming up, so having a bunch of hot hands might be nice. We really liked those lemonade packets. I've been feeling a craving for peanut butter cups. I don't really have anything that I really NEED, but I love getting things from ya, it makes me think y'all still remember me. (You could send a pair of Germals, that might be nice, but don't really NEED them.) (He had to clarify...Garments + Thermals = Germals. :)

Plans for conference, we'll probably watch with members. That's what we've done before. There's normally a session at the church, and the rest are at members places, so yea, it will be fun.

Still just out trying to find some people! You could try praying for Wendy and Jacob, Wendy is this less active woman, who's been starting to make changes in her life, and wants to meet, but is taking a while to get there. Jacob is her son, who we were teaching to help him get ready for baptism, but we haven't seen him for a while, so you could pray that we can teach him again!

Love you all! Have a great week! Sharkbait...

Transfers!!!

Hello!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ellie!!!!! I hope you had a great one!  So yes, I got transfered!! I'm going to Fredericton with Elder Olsen. We're going to be zone leaders, and I'm super excited!! Elder Olsen is one of my favorite elders, so we're going to be having a great time! They closed down Dieppe, so there are only two French areas now, Edmundston and Bathurst. Elder Smith went to Bathurst. The French areas are in New Brunswick, but the majority of the areas are English (like mine).  I had a pretty good week. Deji got baptized!!!!! It was so, so cool. I was one of the elders who found him, and I had a chance to teach him on exchanges. Then Sunday was really good too.  I'm doing really good health wise! I've had no problems. We found someone pretty cool. Her name is Monica, we found her through Facebook. We're going to teach her again tonight.  I liked going to the zoo a lot. We have played Settlers of Catan a lot together, except it...

Yes, it was Zone Conference

Salut tout le monde! Sorry that I didn't send that schedule again. I'm surprised they don't post that on the facebook page for all the parents. It's hard for me to remember that when you're not living your life 6 weeks at a time you don't normally keep track of when "week 2" is, so I'm sorry. I'll try to make sure to say in the email the week before anything like that happens.  I'm glad that you had a good week. Women's conference sounds like it was pretty nice. I know what you mean when you talked about having very crazy weeks! Also, I'm super jealous of being able to go see Avengers, even if the ending was bad. I keep seeing posters for it everywhere, and I'm pretty curious as how they made the whole connection to Guardians. But I guess I'll find out in 450ish days. (That gives me chills, agh!) I'm looking forward to  Sunday  too! You guys have church at 10 right? There is a  ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ >...

Still no snow on my end

Questions we asked: How's it going with Wendy, Jacob and Brendan?  Any new investigators? How's it going with Elder Pitcher? Are you still a ZL? How was your week? Do you have the chance to exercise and play the piano there? Are you brushing and flossing at least twice a day?  What are you thinking career wise? You said that observing your mission presidents had given you insight on that... Hey all, Glad to hear things are going well back home. Funny that you should bring up taxes, there is a YSA member here who just came up from Texas, and during our lesson he kept talking about how ridiculous the taxes are here compared to back in the states. He's originally from here, but he goes to school there and is back while they figure out his visa stuff. He joined the Church down there, going on to show that America is the promised land!  Things are going well on my end. Still no snow, although there's a lot of wind now, and it's getting colder. The ...
