Hey all,

I'm so sorry that I forgot to send the email! I'm so sorry, I was helping Elder Willoughby apply for school cause he's had a lot of questions, and I totally forgot to send my email. I'll make sure to send before I do that again!

We had a pretty good week. After p day ended last week, we went to teach this old former named Jeff. He has been taught everything, and knows its all true, he has even been reading the Book of Mormon and praying. We're hoping that we'll be able to baptize him this transfer, the only thing he needs to do is come to church, and get married.

Thursday was transfers. We got to meet all the new missionaries coming in, there's a lot of cool new ones. Pretty much our entire zone is new missionaries, so it's cool to see the fire. One missionary's companion missed his flight though, so he was waiting with us until the other guy got here at 4:30 later that day, so it was a fun little mini exchange.

Saturday we got to teach Troy again. He's doing well, he can't read well, he has some learning disabilities, but we have this really awesome plan to help him get baptized by helping him want to pass the sacrament every week. It should really help him, and he'll just take off!

Sunday was nice for us too. I wish we got extra study time to do something like everyone else, but we just do our "Come Follow Me" in our normal studies. Home church sounds like a lot of fun though! With our extra hour we just ended up doing more knocking. Bishop Hall had us over for a dinner appointment too, which was really good. The night ended pretty well too, the last door we hit was this upstairs apartment, and Elder Willoughby didn't want to go up the stairs first, so I went up and knocked on the door, and these three Brazilian friends answered the door. We started talking, and they talked about how much they miss having a more spiritual life, since coming to Canada for college, they've been missing out! So we taught them how they can find that spirituality by reading the Book of Mormon, and invited them to our church, and they said they'll come! Hopefully they turn up, cause they're really cool!

In Moncton we normally eat at home. The members have been inviting us a lot more to come eat with them, this week we should have another one!

Sure, I'd like more recipies. :) I like trying new things.

I wish that I got to see the Barnes! They'll definitely have to make another trip, cause it looked like a lot of fun, snowmobiling looked to be pretty cool.

I love you so much!

Got my travel plans!

Bonjour tout le monde!        This has been a crazy week! We've been super busy with lessons, we have had two or three lessons a day, and lots of really good devotionals.  On Sunday , we had Chad Lewis come and talk, and that was really cool. He talked about his mission, his career, his chance to do this hike up Kilimanjaro with a bunch of wounded soldiers from Iraq, kinda all over the place. It was more like a slide show than the kind of devotionals before. It was still good, but I definitely preferred Elder Oaks. We watched A Consecrated Missionary, by Tad Callister, for our film after, it was really good. I really love the  Sunday  films, gunna miss that in the field.         I also finally meet some other people going to Halifax! There are 4 sisters, and one other Elder, I'll be flying out with them on the 26th. I'm pretty sure I get to call you guys before I leave the airport on my flight, but I think they talk about t...

First few days!

First few days are down, and it's going good! When I got here I went straight to a lesson in French, and six hours of lessons later I'm supposed to teach a lesson in complete French to an investigator, write a talk in French, and memorize the missionary purpose statement.  Our zone has about 60 missionaries, most speaking French, going to Lyon, France, but some to Paris as well. There are a lot of Haitian Creole speaking missionaries, and some Malagasy speaking missionaries as well. Two are going to New Caledonia (discussed below). I'm the only one going to Canada, let alone going to Halifax.         My companion is Elder Hable (like table but with an H) and he's really good. He's going to New Caledonia, which is by Australia. He took French for 6 years, and he's by far the best of our district so far. He likes baseball, favorite team is the Red Sox, so that's a plus, (Raelene) and is really kind to everyone. He got made the District leader last night, s...

Another week!

Hey, So like I said, I'm in Fredericton now. It's a good sized ward for New Brunswick, but I got a reminder on Sunday how that's still quite a bit smaller than wards around the world. This woman was visiting from Alberta, and bore her testimony in fast and testimony meeting, and she started out saying how she was grateful for the "branch" and its testimonies. Most of the members are pretty cool. There's the most young families I've ever seen here. A lot of the members are very funny too! We just got a new ward mission leader, he's from the Phillipines, and he's super awesome. He's been doing a lot of work to increase the members desire and expectation to share the gospel. I really hope I can see a lot of that growth change the ward. We only have one investigator right now, Jacob, an 11 year old son of a less active, who we're working with to reactivate. He's pretty excited about it, but he didn't come to church this Sund...
