Bonjour Encore!

Bonjour encore! Soooo, didn't get a weekly from home as of yet, so I guess I'll try to finish answering questions from last week.          Elder Greenburg's awesome! I've been getting along great with him. He was actually assigned English speaking, but after serving in Bathurst with Elder Carlson, he started learning french, and President Pratt has let him keep it up. He actually served with Elder Debry as well, which is pretty cool. Some things that are awesome about him: He has a crazy good mind for the scriptures, he has them practically memorized after reading them a couple times, (Not John Quist status, but he could definitely achieve it) he's very diligent, he works really hard at whatever he does, and he has an impeccable yoda impersonation. Listening to yoda read the scriptures is some of the funniest stuff I've ever heard.          Elder Pierson's pretty awesome too! He's very organized, and he really likes to clean, which is pretty

Already five months

This week's email is mostly answers to questions. Here are the questions: How much service do you guys do, and what do you usually do? How are your investigators progressing? You never sent an update about that family, are you still teaching them?  How are you getting along with Elder Greenburg? What are the best things about him? And what are the best things about Elder Piersen?  Is Edmunston still the promised land of the mission? Why can't you guys meet with more than six missionaries on p-day? Can you still do sports? Can you believe you're coming up on six months? What have you learned in your phone training? What are the blessing of missionary work that we as members overlook or take for granted? What will you do differently when you are just a member missionary again? What was the highlight of your week? The hardest thing? Do you need us to send exercise bands or anything so you can still work out in the mornings? He didn't get to all of them, hope

Whatever week it is now...

Hey everybody!         Man, sounds like everything's going good back home! Super jealous of you guys. I KNEW you guys were going to go on another trip. I'm jealous. Yes, I definitely want to hear the details. So jealous. It's cool that the Barnes are coming over again for the spring. (We told him that we booked plane tickets to England for next summer, and that our friends from England might come visit here.)          Also, it's really warmed up! The sun's come out too, it's actually been a very pretty day. Yesterday we were talking about how it was only 0˚C, and it's going to get hotter! Pretty happy about that one.          Like you said, we had Zone Conference yesterday, and we talked a lot about the technology rules we're going to have. Pretty crazy stuff, some new changes, but none of that will matter quite yet. Like you said, I heard that the office got my phone, so that's all good and taken care of.          Yea, sad to hear ab

Happy New Year!

Hey all, Hope you all had a Happy New Year. We went over to the Pitre's home for New Year for lunch with them, and that was a blast. They are super awesome. We also played pishnoush with them, it's this super fun game where you flick your pishnut at your color and try to get all of yours in first. Brother Pitre is insanely good. He schooled all of us fast, and then we started playing partners. Elder Smith and I almost beat him and his son, who just stopped by while we were there. I think we have a picture of that, so I'll try to send you it when I get back to the apartment.  Not going to lie, some 40 degree weather would be really nice right now. It has been bitter over the last few days. Because it's so cold (it's been -20's C, I think that's like -2 F) we are only supposed to be outdoors for 20 minutes at a time. However, we are still outdoors a lot. Whenever we are out finding, we try to ask people if we can come in to speak with them, and it's
