Busy as bees

Hey all, Glad to know I'm not the only one who's had a super crazy week! It's been so busy, you're right, I've been more busy now on my mission than any time so far! So far this transfer, we've picked up 7 gators, and this coming week we should see it jump to 13! (But more on that later.)  Wednesday was the start to our madness. We had district council in Miramichi, so we carpooled up with the Amherst sisters. It was lots of fun, it was one of the sister's last days, cause her group was going home in the middle of the transfer instead of the end. She actually was in my first district too, so it was really weird to see her go. Later that night, we had a DA (dinner appointment)  with this member family who invited some neighbors over. They were from Newfoundland, and man, they were weird, haha. They had a really strong accent too, which made it pretty funny. It was good though, cause they are interested in learning more, and said we would be able to se

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Hey all, Glad to hear that things are going good! I'm happy [Grandma's] surgery went well, and that it was a relatively calm week.  Transfers are January 4th, I'll attach a copy of the holiday schedule that we got, it should answer all of your questions about that.  Our week has been pretty crazy. I'll start with the update on Daniel and fam. We stopped by Daniel's home this last week, and he wasn't there, but both of his parents were. They let us come in, and we talked about teaching their family. They're down for their kids to learn, and want to learn themselves. We gave them a French Book of Mormon, cause while all of the kids speak English really well, their parents don't. We should be seeing them all tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes. We've yet to meet Karen, Daniel's sister, who is the one we've tried to get into contact with so much, but apparently she's still in Halifax. Her baby boy is having a heart surgery, so

Crazy week!

The first part about the weather is in response to our observation that it was 11 degrees warmer (33 F) in Moncton that it was here last night at 8:00 p.m. (11:00 p.m. his time), and our questions about the postal strike in Canada. :( Hey all, Yes, it's been nice and balmy here! It was just in time for our parade last week, before that it was around -20, but it jumped like 30 degrees that one day, and it has stayed pretty nice since. No, I haven't gotten anything yet, Zone Conference is tomorrow, so I should be getting everything that the mission office has. You're right, everything is taking much more time because of the strike. I didn't even know about it until we ate with some members, and she works at the post, and she told us about it. Hoping that it ends soon enough!  Our week has been absolutely crazy. We had exchanges with the Hampton elders, Elder Bluth and Elder Jorgensen, which turned out to be pretty inspired. We had a really good experience, we pi
