Wow, no reason to be bitter...

The subject line is because I told him in no uncertain terms that cliffhanger sentences like the one in his last email were unacceptable. 😂 Hey all,         Happy anniverary mom and dad! Glad to hear that you liked the movie. I heard from some members that it was really good, but it was too much like the other Marvel movies.         Still haven't gotten my package. Haven't had a chance to see the Caribou Elders, so it's taking it's time. It's normally just better to send stuff to Erich, because it's super easy to get my stuff. Only problem is that I don't know if I'll be here next transfer or not...hehe.        One thing that was pretty weird is how crazy the temperature has been this last week. We literally went from wearing no coats, I was sweating in my sweater, and then the very next day we go back to absolutely freezing and snowing. It really sucks, because it melts the snow and leaves a ton of water, and then freezes, and makes it really s

Some cool news

Hey everyone! Good to hear that you had a good birthday mom! It was definitely weird to see the picture of everyone eating Valentines crepes, and to see that Dad's in my spot. It was definitely easier to enjoy cool dinners when I wasn't making them. I normally cook for everyone, which is pretty fun, but it chews up my dinner time. I sure appreciete cooking time more mom. For our Valentines day, I made a Tollhouse pie, and brought it to district meeting. Everyone loved it. Also made the Broccoli Chicken Casserole today. (Also, don't remember or not if you sent me the recipe for the roast you would always make back home, but because I can spend a little bit more time on p day making food, I like making something better today. Maybe for another pday?) We got our smartphones!!! Currently I am writing this email from my new phone! I got some pictures of all of us emailing. It's pretty cool! We have a lot more chances to talk to and communicate with people, it&#

Happy Birthday mom!

Hey everyone, Happy Birthday Mom! It has been pretty crazy that so far every single birthday has been on my p-day. What a miracle is that. Hope you enjoy some Olympics for me. I saw just a sneak peak of the opening ceremonies at a members house, it looked like some kinda tiger thing. Kinda jealous of Peter, because right now he's helping out at the Olympics, which would be super cool.  Ward party sounds like it was a blast. I guess I don't get the "tradition" behind the "fiddler on the roof" thing, but it sounds pretty funny. The following Sacrament meeting sounds like it was really cool too, Elder Owens is pretty cool.  Man, I miss basketball. Is it possible to get any updates on games and scores? Sometimes I feel like a lone Utah man surrounded by the lone and dreary updates of BYU fans. Haha, I actually enjoy their updates, but I'm missing the true light. But it sounds like Boo's having fun. What happened to Ben being Samantha's bo

This one's kinda all over the place, sorry!

Hey everyone!  Couple quick updates from my end. One of the members in Caribou is a dentist, and used to do checkups for the missionaries, haven't talked to him about it yet, but he'd probably be down. Probably won't need the exercise equipment. My money's doing fine, I haven't really needed to buy much of anything, and I have plenty on the mission card to buy groceries. We could probably buy the meat. I think one of the greatest things that the mission has taught me is how much food we really had, and how easy it would have been to fix it. I seem to remember complaining about how we never had anything to eat. I've definitely have gotten more creative with food. We get by quite easily with the food we have. The only things that suck to buy here are eggs and milk, which are ridiculously overpriced. You can buy 60 eggs in the states for like 12 bucks, and 18 in Canada for 6. Just goes to show that America really is the land of the free. Been healthy. No colds.
