YOU MADE JALAPEÑO POPPERS?

Hey all, WHAT? I had begged for those for years, and the first time you make them in all this time is while I'm on my mission? Wow. That hurts. Almost as much as it would hurt to make them without the gear. At least you have it figured out for when I get home, cause I EXPECT some now...  Also, 1st place!!! That's super awesome! Man, I bet that was an incredible game! I wish I could watch it! I think it's so cool that we took 1st, I think that's the first 1st place finish for the varsity team. At least that I remember. It's going to be cool to see how they do this year in regular season! And I'm glad to see that the meme is staying alive, haha.  I'm glad everyone misses me, haha. I miss them too, and no, you hadn't told me about the video thing, so that's going to be pretty exciting! I'm looking forward to that.  I had a pretty good week. I'll try to go over all of it! Wednesday we had district meeting.  Elder  Pitcher and I we

It's snowing... :'(

Hey all, Man, it sounds like life's been really crazy! You're getting a job? That's way cool! You'd be so good at that too! You did such a good job on making our travel plans for Europe! It sounds like you had a really good Sunday. I wish I could see Braxton's homecoming, I gotta say that I really look up to the guy. That sounds like it was a really good talk. I can definitely second his promise, I've seen answers come through the Book of Mormon as well! I had a pretty good Sunday too. I also got to speak in church. I talked about the gathering of Israel. I can send a copy, but while I was up there I changed quite a few things, so it's not really the same talk. And guess what? Wendy came to church! She was crying a ton, especially during the other's speaker's talk, he talked about how we see through Christ, and it really got to her.  Last Tuesday we carved pumpkins as a ward. It was lots of fun, I stole one of Jonas's old pumpkin ide

Still no snow on my end

Questions we asked: How's it going with Wendy, Jacob and Brendan?  Any new investigators? How's it going with Elder Pitcher? Are you still a ZL? How was your week? Do you have the chance to exercise and play the piano there? Are you brushing and flossing at least twice a day?  What are you thinking career wise? You said that observing your mission presidents had given you insight on that... Hey all, Glad to hear things are going well back home. Funny that you should bring up taxes, there is a YSA member here who just came up from Texas, and during our lesson he kept talking about how ridiculous the taxes are here compared to back in the states. He's originally from here, but he goes to school there and is back while they figure out his visa stuff. He joined the Church down there, going on to show that America is the promised land!  Things are going well on my end. Still no snow, although there's a lot of wind now, and it's getting colder. The

So he's finally driving!

Hey all, First off, General Conference. WOW. It was really good. I loved a lot of the talks. Also, totally called it with it going to 2 hour church. I started hearing that rumor, and it made sense. That's what they did in Edmundston, so been there, done that. Personally, I think it's going to be a fantastic thing for members. We will be studying more and internalizing our faith better. It's not just going to be an "at church" thing. I definitely think some people are going to take it as just shortening it down, but it's going to be life changing if we do what the prophet asks. It was just a shorter church meeting for us in Edmundston because we didn't have the other half, with study back at home. And as a missionary, it was even worse, because it just meant another hour of knocking in the snow, haha. I don't know if we will get extra study time for that or not, I hope so, because otherwise, it's just going to mean another hour of finding again.

Driving to Halifax

Questions we asked: Are you feeling better? You said in your last email that you've changed a lot as a missionary...how have you changed? Tell us more about Brenden...how old is he? What does he do? Do you have any idea what you want to do about housing at BYU?  I assume you still want to go to BYU??? Sorry, I know you don't like to discuss coming home, but at USU they were saying that housing is first-come, first-serve starting in October, so it made me panic a bit. I asked Jan Scharman and she said BYU sends out a card to returning missionaries later, in the early part of winter semester, so January or so. Just want you to be able to contact possible roommates if that is your plan. How was your week? Highlights and lowlights? What's coming up for you as far as zone conference/transfers/etc.?  Do you think you'll ever serve outside New Brunswick? :) Hey all! I'm feeling a bit better. It's still bad in the morning and at night, but it doesn'
