Not 114 degrees

Hey everyone! Glad to hear you had a fun week down south. 114°F is crazy! That is about 5 degrees away from being twice as hot as the high for today here in Canada! I don't know how I'm going to be able to handle the heat when I get back, I'll be so adjusted to Canada that I'll be melting above 70. (Although, there's been a couple days where I wished for just five minutes in that kinda heat!) The weather here is nice now though.  Congrats to Harley! Norway is going to be sick! The mission is super awesome, I'm really excited for you!  Also, I hope you saw the photos. Did the Google photos sharing work? This week was pretty good! We had zone conference this last week, and said goodbye to the Pratts. It was sad, but it was a very uplifting meeting. The Pratts explained what'd going to happen over the next week as President Low comes in. There were some good trainings too! The other Elders are Elder Sawa-Sawa and Elder Day. They're also

Highland Games Festival

Hey all!  Happy Fathers Day dad!!! Hope you had a good Sunday, sorry you have to wait till Christmas to hear me again. Although, that might be the best gift you could ask for. Far, far away, not asking for money, not eating your food, not driving your car, etc... Sorry to hear you suffered this week mom! You need to take care of yourself!!! Despite you having a rough time, we had a really good, busy week. Also, I didn't even know that there was an Ocean's 8. Shows you how much you miss on a mission, haha!  Probably the highlight of the week was the Highland Games Festival. On Saturday we had a booth pretty much all day for family history. A senior couple serving in Saint Stephan came up and helped us out with it, the De Vaneys. There were a lot of people who were there, it was pretty cool! There was one lady in particular who was pretty cool. She came up to me, and said, "Aww, just the people I was looking for!" (Did a double take over that one, I've n

City Life

Hey everyone! This was another busy and fun week! Moncton is super fun, I've been loving it here. It is so awesome to be serving in a city, I love it so much. And, I'm in a ward! This is the first time I've been in a ward, not a branch. It was really cool to see all of the people who come to church, I've gone from about 20 people at church to almost 100! It's definitely going to take more time to learn everyone's names tho, haha. There are two sets of missionaries here, one's area is for Moncton, and another for Dieppe. But we end up sharing a lot anyway, because French people live all over. The other missionaries are Elder Sawa-Sawa and Elder Day. They are both super awesome, I'm looking forward to working more with them.  Up till now I've been doing a lot of planning, working on a training plan for the district. It's been cool to see the inspiration that comes as I've made them, they really are from God. This is the third time m

Bye Bye Bathurst :(

Hey everyone! Man, sounds busy back home! You had a pretty crazy  Sunday . This week was busy for us too, (today is too, haha) but I'm glad to hear it was good. The dinner you had sounds like it was super fun though!  Anyway, like I said in my title, I'm getting transferred. I'm going to be going to Dieppe and serving with Elder Smith, which I'm super excited about! I love Elder Smith so much, he's awesome! This next transfer is going to be BUSY though. Because a lot of missionaries are going home, they are shutting down a bunch of areas, and they combined my district (Bathurst) with the Amhurst district (Miles' district). So my little district went from having potentially 4 - 6 missionaries to having 14. So it's going to be a little crazy. My district is now the biggest one in the mission. I'll try to send a calendar for the next transfer when we get one, because I don't know how it's going to turn out yet. I know there's going t
